An ocean of opportunities awaits you.
Join our Sudbury Sea Cadets
Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Admiral Mountbatten
RCSCC Admiral Mountbatten welcomes all Canadian youth, ages 12-18 who are interested in being challenged, learning new skills or gaining experience in a fun and inclusive environment. Our unit has lived by a simple motto which each staff member and cadet strives to uphold… “IT CAN BE DONE”
We meet Monday evenings 6:00PM – 9:00PM for weekly mandatory training and activities. You will also have the opportunity to experience other activities like competition teams during certain weekends.
Another big component of the Cadet Organization includes Summer Training Opportunities. You will have the chance to apply to specialty courses that take place anywhere between 3 to 6 weeks long at one of the Cadet Training Centres across Canada. Some of these courses even offer qualifications that can be used in civilian life, such as sailing levels boating qualifications and first aid to name a few.
Cadets in Ontario can earn up to two high school credits per training year. The credits are based on a cadet’s participation, attendance, and work in cadet activities.
The Canadian Sea Cadet Organization is a not-for profit organization that is supported by both the Department of National Defence and the Navy League of Canada Sudbury Branch.
