RCSCC Admiral Mountbatten, since 1943!!!
On the 22nd of September, 1943, 241 youths arrived at the Boy Scouts hall on Spruce St. in Sudbury for an opportunity to become members of RCSCC Admiral Mountbatten.
MOUNTBATTEN ALUMNI ASSOCIATION
Our Vision:
The Mountbatten Alumni Association is an organization of former members of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps (RCSCC) Admiral Mountbatten (134), whose vision is to provide its members with opportunities to keep in touch and to give back to the corps.
What we do:
The Association has been instrumental in:
- organizing our many very successful reunions;
- supporting corps activities;
- awarding Scholarships to deserving RCSCC Admiral Mountbatten cadets in partnership with the Navy League of Canada Sudbury Branch;
- supporting the Mountbatten Alumni Band;
- preserving RCSCC Admiral MountbattenCorps History;
- Custodian of the City Hall Ship’s Bell Display; and
- administering the Alumni Facebook site https://www.facebook.com/groups/admiralmountbatten
Who can join:
Former cadets and/or former and present members of the staff of the Royal Canadian Sea Cadet Corps Admiral Mountbatten; RCSCCs Captain Kidd, Hero and Manitoulin; former Wrenettes and/or former members of the staff of the Navy League Wrenette Corps Lady Mountbatten or former and/or present members of the staff of the Navy League Cadet Corps Sudbury (#44); or former and/or present Executive members of the Sudbury Branch of Navy League of Canada.
